WHY WE'RE TAKING ON SLEEP

Sleep is the most important contributor to living a healthier life.

What does the science say?* It improves skin appearance, helps weight loss, sharpens cognitive performance, reduces risk of chronic diseases (and the list goes on and on). In the noisy world of consumer health, sleep is a clear signal. Experts all agree it's a necessity. A good night of rest not only increases your likelihood of adopting other healthy habits (eating better, exercising more, stressing less) but also, enhances the benefits of these same actions. Sleep is the foundation of health and you deserve to enjoy it, night after night.

How bad is the status quo? We as a society aren't spending enough time in bed. One in three people are getting less than 7 hours of sleep, over 30% have symptoms of insomnia, and over 15% feel tired or exhuasted most days (and this list also goes on and on). Despite us having more tools available to us than ever before, it's never been harder to prioritize our sleep. Even wearables and sleep trackers designed to help us have come with their own issues like Orthosomnia. We believe that less is more and aim to make great sleep the norm through a holistic approach of clinical research, behavioural science, and technology.
